The Ascension Consolidated Utility District has issued a boil water advisory for Modeste, Louisiana, following a major water line break. Customers along La. 405 from La. 1 north to Brou Road may experience low water pressure or service interruption. Residents must boil water for one full minute before consumption until the advisory is officially lifted by Parish Utilities. The Louisiana Department of Health confirmed the lifting based on satisfactory water samples.
