Boil water advisory issued for Sambaa K'e

The Northwest Territories' chief environmental health officer has issued a boil water advisory for the community of Sambaa K'e. This is due to the local water treatment plant being temporarily offline for cleaning its raw water reservoir, causing untreated lake water to be used for domestic purposes. Residents are advised to bring all water meant for consumption to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
