The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) has issued a Water Boil Advisory for the Anapra area in Sunland Park, New Mexico, following the completion of repairs to water line breaks and a sewer line leak. Although water and wastewater services have been reactivated, residents must boil all water for one minute before use for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and other sensitive purposes as a standard precaution. The initial outage, caused by fiber optic cabling construction activity, began on September 4, 2026. Update (KFOX14/CBS4, 23.09.2026, 23:21): The affected area specifically includes The Sunland Park Race Track & Casino and Western Playland, where an outage or low pressure lasted over 12 hours on Tuesday.
