Zu viel Uran im Trinkwasser - Trockenheit schuld?
In Großerlach (Rems-Murr-Kreis) wurde am 7. August 2026 bei einer Routinekontrolle eine erhöhte Urankonzentration im Trinkwasser festgestellt, die den Grenzwert mehrfach überschritt. Trotz gesunkener Werte soll das Leitungswasser weiterhin nicht getrunken oder zum Kochen verwendet werden. Die Gemeinde hat die Fördermenge aus einem sensiblen Tiefbrunnen reduziert. Die vorsorgliche Empfehlung betrifft besonders Säuglinge, Kleinkinder, Schwangere und Stillende. Zur dauerhaften Bestätigung der Grenzwerteinhaltung sind weitere Beprobungen erforderlich. Entwarnung (bkz.de, 29.08.2026, 19:25): Das Gesundheitsamt hob am 28. August die vorsorgliche Verwendungsempfehlung auf. Das Trinkwasser ist nun wieder uneingeschränkt nutzbar und zum Trinken sowie zur Speisenzubereitung geeignet. Update (SWR.de, 01.09.2026, 13:25): Abkochen senkt den Urangehalt nicht.
