Im Versorgungsbereich Mainzholzen und Vorwohle wurde bei einer Routineuntersuchung ein mikrobiologisch auffälliger Befund im Trinkwasser festgestellt. In Abstimmung mit dem Gesundheitsamt des Landkreises Holzminden wird das Trinkwasser ab dem 21.08.2026 vorbeugend gechlort. Die betroffenen Anwohner sind aufgerufen, Leitungswasser bis auf Weiteres abzukochen oder Mineralwasser zu verwenden.
