Państwowy Powiatowy Inspektor Sanitarny w Radomiu poinformował o wykryciu bakterii grupy coli w wodzie spożywczej z wodociągu Wierzbica-Zalesice. Dotyczy to 12 miejscowości w gminach Wierzbica (m.in. Wierzbica, Dąbrówka Warszawska, Zalesice) i Kowala (Ruda Mała). Mieszkańcy tych obszarów są zobowiązani do gotowania wody przez co najmniej dwie minuty przed spożyciem, myciem owoców, warzyw, zębów oraz kąpielą niemowląt. Zalecenie obowiązuje do czasu poprawy jakości wody.

W miejscowości Czyściec wykryto bakterie Escherichia coli w ilości poniżej 4 jtk/100 ml, co sprawia, że woda jest niezdatna do picia, przygotowywania posiłków, mycia i kąpieli; może być używana tylko do spłukiwania toalet. Państwowy Powiatowy Inspektor Sanitarny w Szamotułach stwierdził brak przydatności wody do spożycia. Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej prowadzi działania naprawcze i dostarcza wodę pitną, podczas dla Szamotuł i większości okolicznych miejscowości das frühere Warnung aufgehoben wurde.
