Une réunion s’est tenue le 11 septembre 2026 à Carignan pour trouver des solutions à la pollution aux Pfas affectant l'eau potable de plusieurs communes de la Communauté de communes des Portes du Luxembourg, dont Blagny, Malandry, Villy et La-Ferté-sur-Chiers. La solution d'interconnexion avec des réseaux non pollués a été choisie à l'unanimité. Blagny pourrait ainsi retrouver l'eau potable d'ici un à deux mois, tandis que Malandry recevra un filtre à charbon actif temporaire.
