Das Gesundheitsamt hat für mehrere Gemeinden und Ortsteile im Bereich der WAZ Seelow ein Abkochgebot für Trinkwasser erlassen. Betroffen sind unter anderem Golzow, Podelzig, Küstrin-Kietz und weitere Orte im Landkreis Märkisch-Oderland, aufgrund bakterieller Verunreinigungen. Trinkwasser darf nur abgekocht für Trinken, Essenszubereitung und Körperhygiene verwendet werden.
Okolona Under Boil Order
Okolona Waterworks wurde vom Arkansas Department of Health unter ein Abkochgebot gestellt, das am Montag, den 24. August 2026, um 11:17 Uhr in Kraft trat. Das gesamte Okolona Waterworks System ist betroffen. Das Abkochgebot ist auf eine Pumpenstörung zurückzuführen, und Nutzer des Systems sollten Leitungswasser vor der Verwendung 3-5 Minuten lang abkochen.
Water quality advisory issued for Jubilee Park Beach on Wizard Lake
Alberta Health Services (AHS) has issued a water quality advisory for Jubilee Park Beach on Wizard Lake in Leduc County, effective immediately. Elevated levels of bacteria have been detected, advising the public not to swim or wade and to never drink or cook with untreated water from the lake due to the risk of gastrointestinal illness and infections. This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

Water Quality Advisory Update – August 25, 2026
A Water Quality Advisory remains in effect for the Town of Osoyoos's drinking water system. The advisory, initially issued on July 7, 2026, is due to elevated manganese levels. Town staff continue to monitor the situation. Update (Osoyoosnews.com, 12.09.2026, 23:55): The elevated manganese is attributed to naturally occurring elements and ongoing issues with the lake's water supply. The advisory's duration is currently unknown.
Au-Brunnen wird voraussichtlich am Wochenende zugeschaltet
Die Städtischen Dienste Eberbach planen die vorübergehende Zuschaltung des Au-Brunners zum Trinkwassernetz, um die Versorgung aufgrund anhaltender Trockenheit zu sichern. Dies kann eine erhöhte Wasserhärte, insbesondere in Neckarwimmersbach, zur Folge haben. Zudem wird die Desinfektion des Trinkwassers mittels Natriumhypochlorid aufrechterhalten.
