Keime im Trinkwasser: Diese Gemeinden im Landkreis Günzburg müssen Wasser abkochen

Coliforme Keime wurden im Trinkwasser in mehreren Gemeinden des Landkreises Günzburg sowie in Pfaffenhofen (Landkreis Neu-Ulm) entdeckt. Für betroffene Ortsteile von Bibertal, Rieden an der Kötz, Waldstetten, Kleinkötz, Großkötz, Ebersbach und die Gemeinde Pfaffenhofen wurde vorsorglich ein Abkochgebot erlassen. Das Abkochgebot wurde am 26. Juni 2026 erlassen. Eine Fehlfunktion der UV-Desinfektionsanlage, welche die Keime nicht abtöten konnte, ist die mutmaßliche Ursache. Entwarnung (Heimat-Info.de, 19.07.2026, 07:31): Das Abkochgebot für die Gemeinde Bibertal, das am 3. Juli 2026 erlassen wurde, ist mit sofortiger Wirkung aufgehoben. Mehrere Beprobungen zeigten in den vergangenen Tagen keine Belastungen mehr.
