Current status: Lifted (as of 26/09/2026, 09:20). Older update notes in the history text may be outdated.
Update (Radio Kerry, 22.09.2026, 21:40): The notice was issued on September 15, 2026 and now includes Drommartin and Lixnaw. Consumers must boil water for one minute before consumption or use in food preparation. Update (Radio Kerry, 25.09.2026, 20:10): The advisory is due to disinfection related issues causing deteriorated raw water quality at the reservoir. All-clear (Radio Kerry, 26.09.2026, 09:20): The boil water notice for some areas in North Kerry has been lifted following consultation with the HSE, with water now confirmed safe to drink and use as normal.
