In den Gemeinden Würenlos, Wettingen, Neuenhof und Baden ist seit Ende Juni 2026 der Benzinrückstand ETBE im Grund- und Trinkwasser nachweisbar. Die Konzentration liegt deutlich unter dem geltenden Höchstwert, sodass keine Einschränkungen bei der Verwendung als Trinkwasser nötig sind. Als wahrscheinliche Ursache wird ein Schadenereignis mit Benzinversickerung auf dem Areal der Autobahnraststätte Würenlos vom 3. September 2025 angenommen.

Un arrêté municipal du 28 août a déclaré l'eau impropre à la consommation dans les secteurs de Champoutant, Gollet et Orsin à Saint-Gervais (Haute-Savoie). Les habitants doivent faire bouillir l'eau pendant cinq minutes avant de la consommer ou de l'utiliser pour la préparation d'aliments. Une distribution de bouteilles d'eau a été organisée depuis le 29 août et la situation devrait revenir à la normale ce lundi 31 août.

Die Katastrophenschutzbehörde des Landkreises Saarlouis warnte am 01.09.2026 vor einer mikrobiologischen Verunreinigung des Trinkwassers in den Ortsteilen Biringen, Fürweiler, Gerlfangen, Hemmersdorf und Oberesch der Gemeinde Rehlingen-Siersburg. In Abstimmung mit dem Gesundheitsamt wurde eine Schutzchlorung angeordnet; das Wasser kann ansonsten uneingeschränkt genutzt werden, jedoch sollte Babynahrung mit abgepacktem Wasser zubereitet werden. Es finden zudem Spülvorgänge im Netz statt. Update (SOL.DE, 02.09.2026, 11:20): Die Verunreinigung wurde bei Routinekontrollen des Trinkwassers festgestellt.
