Boil water notice issued for 11,000 homes in Tipperary
Uisce Éireann hat eine Abkochverordnung für 11.000 Kunden in Tipperary herausgegeben, die vom öffentlichen Wassersystem Glenary in Clonmel versorgt werden. Auch Teile von Waterford sind betroffen. BOIL WATER NOTICE
The reservoir levels at the reservoir for Castlebaldwin Group Water Scheme are projected to run dry today, 24th June 2026. Sligo County Council, in conjunction with the Health Service Executive, has issued a Boil Water Notice for the Castlebaldwin Group Water Scheme to protect public health.
Boil Water Notice in place for 480 premises on Tullohea Public Water Supply
A Boil Water Notice has been issued for 480 premises served by the Tullohea Public Water Supply. Customers affected are advised to boil all water for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, and making ice. The notice is currently active.
Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued for Ballyhilty Public Water Supply
Uisce Éireann has issued a precautionary Boil Water Notice for approximately 8,125 customers on the Ballyhilty Public Water Supply due to an operational issue impacting the water treatment process. Affected areas include Skibbereen town, Baltimore, Ballydehob, Schull, and surrounding areas. Residents are advised to boil water for drinking, food preparation, and brushing teeth until further notice.

The Boil Water Notice for approximately 5,000 customers in Tipperary Town remains in effect due to high levels of turbidity caused by structural damage to a borehole. Uisce Éireann is currently undertaking interim operational adjustments and planning exploratory drilling for a new water source. Residents must boil water for drinking, food preparation, and brushing teeth until further notice. Update (Tipp FM, 27.06.2026, 11:22): The boil water notice was issued on February 12th, now active for four months, and affects customers supplied by the Cordangan plant, including farms and businesses.
